1113..002, Chapter A of
the TEXAS Local Government
Code states that the
County Treasurer SHALL BE
the Chief Custodian of the
money and shall keep a
designated depository and
shall account for all
monies belonging to the
county. The
Treasurer is accountable
for all monies received,
for all expenditures as
well as debts due and owed
by the County. The
treasurer is also
responsible to reconcile
all bank accounts to the
statement and the ledger.
I have 74 bank accounts
including investments. Even
though these are
requirements by Government
Code- I have more
functions, which include:
