The Texas Supreme Court requires that e-filing be used for civil and probate matters. Once implemented, paper will no longer be accepted at the clerk’s counter. All electronic filing will be processed through eFileTexas.gov.
THE FIRST STEP to start e-filing is to select your service provider. An electronic filing service provider (EFSP) provides an online service to help you file your documents, and acts as the intermediary between you and the eFileTexas.gov system. The service providers listed have all met the requirements for certification outlined by the Office of Court Administration. Additional providers will be added as they meet the certification requirements outlined by the Office of Court Administration.
